When Peter Kirkpatrick, co-founder of Paige™, set out to build a better technology for seniors, it wasn’t out of strategy—it was out of love. His mother, once vibrant and sharp, had grown increasingly frustrated with technology as she aged. From online banking to operating a microwave, tasks that had once been second nature became barriers. What pained him most wasn’t the loss of ability but the emotional toll. Technology had made her feel small. Incompetent. Invisible.

So Peter built Paige™, a one-touch video and support platform designed with clarity, simplicity, and empathy in mind. With Paige™, his mother didn’t have to navigate menus or fumble with buttons. She just saw his face. He showed up, and everything changed.
At the same time in Toronto, Marcel Zierfuss, founder of Good Comfort, was having a parallel revelation. After years of watching a loved one fall through the cracks of fragmented care, Marcel realized that the system wasn’t broken because it lacked skill but because it lacked CARE.
