Good Comfort provides coordination, recommendations, and access to general wellness, support, and transportation services.

Good Comfort:

  • Does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making

  • Is not a regulated health provider or Health Information Custodian under Ontario law

Some services may be delivered by independent, third-party providers.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or use the services with a parent/guardian)

  • Provide accurate information

  • Comply with these Terms and applicable Ontario and Canadian laws

3. Information You Provide

When using our forms or assessment tools, you may provide:

  • Name and contact information

  • Information about who needs care

  • Type and urgency of care

If you submit information about another person, you confirm you have authority or consent to do so.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Our handling of personal information follows:

  • PIPEDA

  • Ontario PHIPA principles (voluntarily applied for health-related information)

  • Ontario Consumer Protection Act

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Wellness and Non-Medical Disclaimer

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Good Comfort services:

  • Support general wellness and lifestyle needs

  • Do not replace medical advice

  • Do not constitute diagnosis, clinical assessment, or medical treatment

For medical concerns, consult a regulated health professional.

6. Service Partners & Third-Party Providers

Some services may be provided by third-party partners.

By using our services, you acknowledge that:

  • Third-party providers operate independently

  • Good Comfort is not liable for their acts or omissions

  • We may share necessary information with partners solely to deliver the service you request

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the platform lawfully

  • Not interfere with, misuse, or attempt unauthorized access

  • Not submit false, harmful, or misleading information

  • Not engage in unlawful or prohibited activities

8. Payments, Billing & Refunds

If payments are processed through Good Comfort or partner platforms, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate billing information

  • Pay applicable fees

  • Accept that refund, cancellation, or billing policies disclosed at purchase apply

All billing practices comply with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Good Comfort, its employees, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the services

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Your violation of any laws

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, Good Comfort is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Delays, failures, or actions of third-party providers

  • Decisions made based on assessment tools

  • Losses from misuse or unauthorized access

  • Events outside our reasonable control

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question, if any.

11. Emergency Services Disclaimer

Good Comfort does not provide emergency response.

In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

12. Electronic Communications

By using our services, you consent to receive communications electronically, including:

  • Email

  • SMS or text messages

  • Digital notices

You may unsubscribe from non-essential messages at any time.

13. Modifications to These Terms

Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
