Good Comfort is reimagining care.
We bring together personalized homecare, accessible transportation, wellness services, and essential care products, delivered by one trusted team. Our mission is simple: to make care seamless, stress-free, and deeply human.
Whether you’re beginning the care journey, recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, or navigating the realities of aging, we provide high-quality, compassionate support, right where your loved ones are, at every stage of life.
What started as a small, mission-driven team has grown into an integrated team of exceptional Personal Support Workers, Nurses, Therapists, Wellness Experts, and Corporate Partners, all working together to help people live and age well.
Our Story
Good Comfort was born from a personal journey. One filled with confusion, sleepless nights, and the painful realization that navigating care today is far too complex.
Like so many others, we were suddenly thrust into the world of care with no plan, no experience, and no one to guide us. We found a system full of gaps. Families were left overwhelmed, constantly searching for support they could trust.
But what stood out most was how care was being delivered—with very little actual care. It had become a transaction, not a relationship.
That realization sparked our mission: to bring care back to care.
Family by family, visit by visit, we are reimagining what’s possible with Better Care — personal, compassionate, and grounded in trust.

Marcel leads Good Comfort with a bold mission: to redefine and disrupt the care industry by delivering the kind of care people both expect and deserve. This mission is not just professional—it’s deeply personal and woven into the fabric of who he is. While Marcel embodies the energy and instinct of a natural entrepreneur, his leadership is grounded in a distinguished career as an internationally recognized business strategist. Prior to founding Good Comfort, he spearheaded transformative, award-winning work for some of the world’s most prominent and innovative companies. These experiences have uniquely equipped him to lead Good Comfort as CEO, where he brings the same visionary thinking, creative rigor, and relentless pursuit of better to the care industry. Beyond work, Marcel finds joy in life’s simple pleasures—cycling scenic trails, playing tennis with his family, and enjoying quiet walks with his long-haired Dachshund.

With a commerce degree from India, my initial career aspirations were firmly set in the fields of accounting or finance. However, destiny took an unexpected turn when I found myself drawn into the role of Care Coordinator. Here, I unearthed a profound connection and a level of satisfaction that eclipsed any previous experiences. Over the span of more than five years in this role, I honed my management skills and cultivated a deep understanding of sound business principles, which played a pivotal role in fostering the growth of the organization.

Dr. J. Bernard Gosevitz is the Chief Medical Officer Emeritus of Rogers Communications Inc. He holds the Medical Directorship for Barrick Gold Corp. and is a Medical Advisor to KPMG and Burnac Corporation. Dr. Gosevitz has served as Chair of the Canadian Wildlife Federation Foundation and is on the honorary Board of Sheena’s Place. He serves on the Board of Arts for Muskoka Chautauqua.

It is Jane’s journey of seeking out care for her father that largely inspired Good Comfort Homecare.

Dr. Shayna Singh

Shayna Singh, MD, CCFP, was born in Toronto. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from the American University of Antigua in 2011 and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University at Buffalo, NY. In 2014, she obtained licensure with the Canadian College of Family Physicians and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. After running a solo practice for five years, Dr. Singh began working in home-based primary care, caring for vulnerable seniors in downtown Toronto. She has always taken a special interest in mental health and end-of-life care, valuing non-paternalistic, truly patient-centred care.
